Police on Saturday recovered a shotgun at Crane, West Coast Demerara, days after it was allegedly stolen during a robbery.
The discovery was made at around 20:30 hrs.
According to a Police report, ranks received information and went to the location when they found a black shotgun casing in a clump of bushes.
“The casing was opened and examined. Inside was a firearm,” Police said.
The shotgun was allegedly stolen during a robbery committed on Yvonne Singh on October 18, 2023.
The shotgun was taken to the Leonora Police Station where it was processed for fingerprints.
