    The Unlimited/Group 4 class is shaping up to be a Guyana/Trinidad showdown following a heated qualifying session on Saturday afternoon at the South Dakota Circuit.

    Watched on by a fair-sized crowd, Guyanese Mark Vieira, in his Mazda RX-8, put down the fastest time of 1:16.596s and will start on pole on for the ‘Greatest Race of All Time’ on Sunday.

    Trinidadian Franklyn Boodram, powering the yellow Renault RS01, will start second on the grid, with his best time being 1:16.769s, while Guyanese Vishok Persaud, with his ENet branded KTM X-Bow, recorded the third fastest time of 1:17.006s.

    Unlimited/Group 4 qualifiers
