ENet Caribbean Clash of Champions: Nobrega records fastest lap time in Starlet Cup

Steven Nobrega capped a fantastic race weekend at the ENet Caribbean Clash of Champions, recording the fastest lap time in the Starlet Cup at the South Dakota Circuit.

Nobrega, in his Toyota Glanza, clocked 1:25.095s, lowering the 1:25.807s set by Rameez Mohamed at the South Dakota Grand Prix in March 2023.

Nobrega, driving car #221, took that momentum into Sunday, winning both the Starlet Cup races.

Based on unofficial results, Nobrega is also the overall Starlet Cup champion for 2023.

“Basically it was a good weekend. The car was well prepared. We had a tuner from Jamaica Kenrick Baker and we had Anil Persaud (Nala) who built the motor for me, so without those guys the combination we had would not have been possible,” Nobrega told News Room Sport.
