Sinclair among wickets as West Indies ‘A’ chase 224

Guyanese all-rounder Kevin Sinclair picked up two for 39 from 17 overs as West Indies ‘A’ bowled out South Africa ‘A’ for 250 to set up a chase of 224 on the final day of their Four-Day match in South Africa.

Sinclair ended with match figures of 4-103 from 35 overs, and the visitors reached stumps on day three, eight without loss, with Zachary McCaskie on five and Tagenarine Chanderpaul on one.

South Africa’s captain, Neil Brand, led his team with 104 while Zubayr Hamza (30), David Bedingham (23), and Clyde Fortuin (20) had some starts.

Pacer Akeem Jordan (3-28) led the attack and got support from Shermon Lewis (2-37) and Jayden Seales (2-48).

West Indies ‘A’ got to 314-9 in their first innings, compliments of Chanderpaul (78) and Kavem Hodge (73).
