WI Academy v Emerging Ireland: Anderson strokes second First-Class ton

Guyanese batsman Kevlon Anderson stroked his second First-Class ton on Saturday as West Indies Academy piled up 300-8 against Emerging Ireland in the second Four-Day match at the Coolidge Cricket Ground in Antigua.

The Berbice right-hander scored 101 not out off 172 balls, batting at number four. His innings included 14 fours.

Nyeem Young made 80 off 115 balls (7x4s, 5x6s), while Guyanese opener Matthew Nandu scored 35 off 116 (3x4s).

Bowling for Emerging Ireland, Tom Mayes has taken 3-62, Michael Frost 2-71 and Matthew Foster 2-90.

West Indies Academy lead the series after a thumping innings and 134 runs victory in the opening game.
