The Rotary Club of Georgetown doubles down on its commitment to spreading joy during the Christmas holidays, seamlessly orchestrating two impactful events.
In the first event, guided by a compassionate leadership team, Rotarians and devoted Rotaractors, along with the teams from Gold Body by Cosmetics Beauty World & Glō Aesthetics, dedicated a day to pampering senior citizens. Beyond conventional acts of kindness, this initiative integrated wellness, mental health, and suicide prevention, aligning with Rotary’s core values of collective commitment to improving lives.
Building on this momentum, Rotarians orchestrated a festive Christmas social for 130 seniors from 12 homes on Sunday, December 3rd, just one week later. Generous gift bag donations, seamless transportation, indulgent pampering sessions, culinary delights, vibrant decorations, soul-stirring performances by the First Born Choir, and a jolly appearance by Santa highlighted the Rotary commitment to community service.
