
The Berbice Cricket Board (BCB) on Sunday held its Annual General Meeting and election of officer bearers, with long-serving BCB executive Dr. Cecil Beharry elected the new president.
Dr. Beharry won 18-14 against Albert Smith at the Port Mourant Community Centre.
Dr. Beharry takes over from Hilbert Foster, who did not seek re-election; he previously served as Treasurer under Foster.

Qualis Winter, Junior Blair and David Black were elected the three Vice-presidents, while Ryan Algu is Secretary and Rovin Bahadur the Treasurer.
Ameer Rahaman is the Assistant Secretary and Devindra Ramdihal is the Assistant Treasurer.
Present at the AGM were President of the Guyana Cricket Board and Cricket West Indies Director Bissoondyal Singh and Cricket Ombudsman Malcolm Peters.
