GPF Senior Officers cricket team receives gear from NYPD cricket team

The Guyana Police Force’s Senior Officers cricket team this week received a donation from the New York Police Department (NYPD) cricket team, represented by Sheryar Hussain.

Hussain, who is a member of the NYPD, has been donating over the years to the Guyana Police Force in collaboration with the NYPD.

Deputy Commissioner (Operations) Ravindradat Budhram, who is also the Chairman of Police Cricket and captain of the Senior Officer’s cricket team, received the timely donation on behalf of the GPF, at his Eve Leary Office.

Also present was Vice-Captain, Deputy Superintendent Ronald Ali.

The Police Senior Officer cricket team recently won the Commissioner of Police T20 cricket competition for the first time.

In addition, the team is also the defending champion of the Commander-in-Chief cricket competition.

At the presentation, Budhram expressed appreciation to both Hussain and the NYPD for their ongoing support and collaboration with the Guyana Police Force.
