Three men were on Monday placed on $150,000 bail each after they were charged jointly with attempting to commit a felony.

The accused are Gopaul Brijlall, 27, a labourer of Lusignan, East Coast Demerara (ECD); Khrishna Persaud, a 20-year-old welder also of Lusignan, ECD and Conrad Saul, 31, a driver of Liliendaal, East Coast Demerara.

The incident, which occurred on January 4, was allegedly committed on Muneshwar Persaud.

A report was made and the men were arrested the same day by a detective attached to the Cove and John Police station.

They appeared before Magistrate Fabayo Azore at the Vigilance Magistrate’s Court.

The men pleaded not guilty to the charge. Bail was granted and the case was adjourned to February 15, 2023.
