Inclement weather in the city has forced the Demerara Cricket Board (DCB) to shift its final and third place playoff of the SVC/Precision Service Centre Inc. sponsored Inter-Association T20 competition to January 27 at the Georgetown Cricket Club, Bourda.
The games were originally fixed for January 20 at the same venue.
Weather permitting, the unbeaten Georgetown Panthers will take on West Demerara Jaguars in the final, while East Coast Canje Pheasants will battle East Bank Eagles in third place playoff.
Playing in the semi-finals at the picturesque Meten-Meer-Zorg ground, West Coast Demerara, on January 14, the Panthers trounced Eagles by 69 runs, while Jaguars inflicted a nine-wicket defeat on East Canje Pheasants.
