
Vishok Persaud stormed to victory at the Guyana Motor Racing & Sports Club Endurance Race meet at the South Dakota Circuit on Sunday.
Competing in his KTM X-Bow, he completed the 100 laps in two hours, 35 minutes, and 27 seconds.
He also achieved a new overall Endurance racing lap record of 1:22.42s.
Powered by ENet, Persaud also holds the Group 4 lap record at 1:16.691s.
At the ‘Dakota 100’ last year, Persaud was the first and only driver to make the 100 laps.
His machine of speed at the time was a black Lotus Exige, and he completed that race in two hours, forty minutes, and 29.956 seconds (2:40:29.956).

Meanwhile, Shiraz Roshandin got second, completing 98 laps in two hours and 36 minutes, followed by Adrian Fernandes (two hours, 36 minutes and five seconds).
In the 0-1500cc, Anthony Evelyn got first as he completed 91 laps in two hours, 36 minutes, and 47 seconds, while Roshandin was the top competitor in the 1501cc – 1600cc class.
Richard Hamid completed 85 laps in two hours, 36 minutes, and 26 seconds to win the 1601cc- 2000cc class, and Persaud was the top competitor in the unlimited class.
