Marian students hold PE and Sport Expo

Fifth form Physical Education and Sport students of the Marian Academy on Saturday held an exposition at the school to demonstrate key subject areas.

The Expo was held for the purpose of their School Based Assessment and entailed examining the five compulsory core areas of the subject, namely History and Development, Anatomy and Physiology, Fitness and Performance, Health and Nutrition, and Trends and Social Issues.

Students were divided into groups in relation to these areas and assigned individual roles to ensure a smooth performance for the event.

Within these groups, members were also tasked with performing an informative presentation on the various elements of their core, as well as creating a booth to effectively illustrate topics pulled from their presentation.

The programme commenced at 09:00 hrs and was opened by Principal  Sr. Marie Harper O.S.U and concluded at approximately 12:00 hrs.
