Massy launches website for online grocery shopping


Massy Stores is thrilled to announce the launch of new payment options on its e-commerce website, which goes live today, February 3, 2024. This new platform will provide customers with an additional shopping option, allowing them to access the same great shopping experience they are accustomed to, now from anywhere in the world.

Customers can expect secure online transactions through Visa or Mastercard payment options and a cash-on-pickup option for those who prefer that. During the order placement process, customers can select their preferred pick-up time and track the progress of their orders. The designated pick-up location for online orders will be Massy Stores Mega (Turkeyen).

Commenting on the launch of new payment options on the e-commerce website, Marketing Supervisor Ms Chrystel Taylor said, “We are excited to offer our customers a new way to shop with us, and we are confident that with this addition to our e-commerce platform, our customers will now have shopping options, whether online or in-store, that fit their lifestyles providing a convenient and enjoyable experience for all.”

To mark this milestone, Massy Stores has aptly named its launch campaign ‘One Size Doesn’t Fit All.’ This underscores Massy Stores’ mission to utilise technology to provide its customers with innovative shopping options that are tailored to best fit their unique lifestyles. The introduction of this new option will be the first of its kind for any major grocery store in Guyana.

Looking ahead, Massy Stores plans to expand its e-commerce services to other store locations and introduce a delivery option, providing even greater flexibility and convenience for customers.

Ms Taylor explained, “As we examine evolving consumer behaviour and preferences, we believe adapting and embracing digital innovation in retail is important. We are happy to redefine the retail experience by offering multiple shopping options that fit our customers’ lives. With this new option, overseas-based customers can conveniently shop for their family members’ groceries at and arrange for them to pick-up at Massy Stores Mega (Turkeyen).”
