Machinery Corporation of Guyana Ltd. (MACORP) has expanded its services to Berbice, Region Six with the official inauguration of its new branch on February 1, 2024.
Situated conveniently at Phoebe, Port Mourant, Corentyne, this strategic location was chosen for its central position, facilitating easy access for customers in both Upper Corentyne and Lower Corentyne.

Speaking at the event, President of the Berbice Chamber of Commerce, Samantha Reid said the new location represents the dawn of a promising partnership between MACORP and the Berbice community.
She believes the addition of this branch in the region will serve the business community there well.

“We have set up in this store a dedicated Caterpillar parts inventory to serve the region and provide even better service levels to our customers, but furthermore, the Pout Morant office will enable our Equipment, Service, and Training advisors to be closer to the region and to understand better the ways to work together.”
The residents of Berbice warmly embraced this new addition, evident in the influx of customers during the ribbon-cutting ceremony.
