Synetech partners with Int’l manufacturer to improve services, product warranties

Guyanese technology solutions provider, Synetech is now an authorised service centre for Japanese multinational electronics company and a large printer manufacturer, Epson.

Synetech’s managing director, Anil Singh made the announcement on Thursday at the Marriott Hotel in Georgetown, noting that the company is now authorised to perform maintenance and repairs on Epson products that are still under warranty.

This means local consumers no longer have to worry about procuring parts in case of defects or troubleshooting when purchasing these products.

Dr Ashni Singh, the Finance Minister during his keynote address, said the country’s rapid transformation demands that businesses offer modern standards.

“Irrespective of what you are buying, we want the Guyanese customers to enjoy the same quality and level of service that they would enjoy anywhere else in the world and in particular, in the best served markets of the world,” the minister said.

He said strategic partnerships between local companies and manufactures with global footprint like this represent a significant step towards achieving world class services.

“We want every single Guyanese today to enjoy the same warranty that they would enjoy if they lived in News York, Toronto or London,” he added.

The company has been in partnership with Epson since 2023, procuring their line of printers, projectors and scanners. The managing director said in keeping with its customer centric values, it was necessary to respond to every possible need.

“Companies and organisations wanted and they still want more than just products in a box; they wanted solutions and more so solutions that address the challenges that they face every day.

“To this end, we set out to out to establish partnerships with companies that are considered leaders in their field,” Singh said.

Synetech supplies and supports major brands such as Dell for computing and storage; Vertic and APC for uninterrupted power supplies solutions (UPS, Fortinet for cyber security and network solutions and Google Cloud for cloud solutions).
