National swimmers visit Embassy of Guyana in Doha

Guyanese national swimmers Raekwon Noel and Aleka Persaud, who are currently participating in the World Aquatic Championship in Qatar, paid a visit to the Embassy of Guyana in Doha.
The visit coincided with Qatar’s National Sports Day on Tuesday, February 13.
The two young swimmers, accompanied by their coach, were received by Ambassador Safraaz Ahmad Shadood, who gave them a tour of the Embassy.
Ambassador Shadood wished them a successful outing and urged them to be excellent ambassadors for Guyana.
He reiterated that all of Guyana is proud of their achievements.
Noel will be in action on February 14, while Olympian Persaud will compete from February 15.
