A 28-year-old man from Crabwood Creek, Upper Corentyne – Berbice, died following an accident along the Kilcoy/Chesney Public Road on Sunday morning.
Dead is Lakchan Premkumar. He was at the time driving motor car PAD 3731.
The News Room understands that Premkumar was speeding along the southern drive lane of the public road when he lost control and collided with a concrete bridge on the northern side of the public road.
The driver was flung from his vehicle and landed in a drain where he sustained multiple injuries about his body. He was rushed to the Port Mourant Hospital in an unconscious state and was pronounced dead.
