Timothy Kublalla, 22, of Enterprise Squatting Area, East Coast Demerara died on Sunday night after he allegedly lost control of his car and ended up driving into a trench along the Enterprise Access Road.
According to the Guyana Police Force, the man was driving motorcar PRR 6860 at about 20:50 hrs when he lost control and ended up submerged in the trench.
Enquires disclosed that the man was speeding, headed in the western direction.
The driver was taken out of the trench by public-spirited citizens and taken to the Georgetown Public Hospital in a Police vehicle, where he was pronounced dead.
