Sophia woman who suffers from seizures missing since Valentine’s Day

The relatives of Eugenie Holder of Sophia, Greater Georgetown are seeking the public’s assistance to locate her after she went missing on Valentine’s Day.

Holder, 50, lived alone at ‘E’ Field Sophia/Cummings Park and according to her family, she has a health condition which causes her to get seizures.

Loreen Bennett, the woman’s sister-in-law, told the News Room on Tuesday that she was last seen at about 16:00 hrs on February 14.

According to Bennett, a neighbour saw her walking in the direction of a nearby shop wearing a purple dress and brown hat.

The family later filed a missing person’s report at the Turkeyen Police Station on Friday.

“The morning time (Thursday) they [the neighbour] go over by her and they were calling but no answer, in the afternoon they called again and no answer.

“Well I was at work and they came over and tell me…we did not see her after four o’clock on valentine afternoon, the night, the whole day we looking,” Bennett said.

The family is worried and is asking qnyone with information to contact them on 269-0230/665-0143/676-9595 or the nearest police station.

    Eugenie’s disappearance is such a sad one.. I am hoping that she will be found soon.
