18 months jail, $115,000 fine for ganja
Odingo Marks
Odingo Marks, a 30-year-old Vendor of Sand Reef, Queenstown, Essequibo Coast, was sentenced on Tuesday to 18 months imprisonment, with a fine of $115,200 for possession of 76.8 grams of Cannabis.
Marks was nabbed with the marijuana at Queenstown, Essequibo Coast, Police Headquarters reported.
He was sentenced by Magistrate Esther Sam at the Anna Regina Magistrate’s Court after he was found guilty of the offence.
