Taxi driver shot dead during argument


Police are investigating the murder of a taxi driver, who was shot and killed on Saturday morning during an argument at the corners of Robb and Alexander Streets, Georgetown.

The victim has been identified as Eon Holder known as ‘Rasta man’.

The News Room understands that the shooting unfolded at around 05:30hrs while Holder was waiting on a customer to place goods in his trunk.

It is alleged that an argument erupted between Holder and the suspect over the manner in which he was parked.

It is believed that the suspect discharged a round in a fit and rage, fatally wounding the victim.

The suspect then escaped.

The Police were summoned and an investigation is underway.
