Elite League: Western Tigers hammer Buxton United 10-0

Western Tigers Football Club sent a stern warning over their ambitions in season six of the KFC Elite League after they trampled Buxton United 10-0 on the second match day at the Guyana Football Federation National Training Centre at Providence.

Ann’s Grove United also copped three points as they defeated Fruta Conquerors 3-0 on Tuesday evening.

After the first half, Western was up 3-0 with Andrew Murray Jr. (4^th, 11^th) and Trayon Bobb (15^th) on the scoresheet.

It rained goals in the second half for Western Tigers as Buxton had no answer.

Randolph Wagner (53^rd, 57^th), Chai Williams (66^th, 92^nd), Anthony Abrams (77^th) and Jermaine Beckles (83^rd, 90^th).

Meanwhile, Kevin Williams (37^th), an own goal by Mark Carrega (59^th) and Jaden Vangronigen (77^th) lead Ann’s Grove to success under new coach Calvin ‘Flu’ Allen.

The League continues Thursday with the Guyana Police Force Football Club battling Den Amstell FC from 19:00h at the National Training Facility.
