Police on Sunday discovered an illegal shotgun and an air gun in a clump of bushes at Cookrite Savannah, Corentyne, Berbice.
In a statement, Police Headquarters said the items were found in a clump of bushes, some 400 meters away from the savannah’s last camp.
The discovery was made at around 09:30 hrs by ranks attached to Police Division #6. No arrest was made.
The items were lodged at the Whim police station as the investigation continues.
