Farmer charged for wounding Pomeroon men

A 38-year-old farmer was on Monday placed on $150,000 bail after he denied wounding two Pomeroon, Region Two men several days ago.

Alex Peters, a resident of Aberdeen Canal, Lower Pomeroon River appeared before Magistrate Tomieka Clarke at the Charity Magistrate’s Court.

He is accused of unlawfully wounding Fino Gouveia, 24, of Lower Pomeroon River and Randy Yusuf, 23, of Grant Upper Pomeroon.

Peters pleaded not guilty to the charges.

The case was adjourned to April 29 for report and disclosure of statements.
