Michael Morgan, an 18-year-old student at the Government Technical Institute (GTI) in Georgetown, remains distressed after his car was broken into and his sister’s CXC books were stolen.

When Morgan discovered on Sunday morning that his car had been broken into he also realized that the only item missing was his sister’s school bag containing her CXC books.

As such, Morgan is appealing to the two suspects to return the books.

“I am appealing for the persons that stole the bag with the books to return it if possible,” Morgan told the News Room on Monday.

The incident occurred at about 04:10 hrs at William Street, Campbellville, Georgetown.

“I woke up Sunday morning and when I entered the car I saw the stuff from the glove compartment was on the seat so then I went outside and I saw that the window was on the grass by the trench,” Morgan recounted.

He said he then went to a hotel across from his house and requested to view the footage from the CCTV cameras.

The footage revealed two men on bicycles approaching his car, inspecting the inside with their phone lights and, subsequently, riding off with the stolen bag.

They broke the back window of the car to gain access.
