Pace and Power Boxing Gym gets equipment boost from Mohamed’s Enterprise

Mohamed’s Enterprise, through its managing director Azruddin Mohamed, donated a quantity of boxing gear to the Pace and Power Gym located at Castello and Independence Boulevard. Albouystown.

Established six years ago, the gym caters to young people between the ages of eight and 17.

They were recently deemed the best gym at the Guyana Boxing Association’s monthly schoolboy tournament by winning seven medals.

The facility is owned and operated by trainer Clifton Barker. Twenty young people enlist in it and undergo rigorous training in various techniques in the evenings from Monday to Friday.

The gym is also the home of National Under-16 female boxer Tofina Barker, who was part of a Guyana Boxing Association (GBA) contingent to St. Lucia, Barbados, and Uzbekistan in 2023.

The training coach was pleased about the timely donation by the businessman and expressed his gratitude.
