20-Y-O dies in motorcycle accident at North Rupununi

A 20-year-old motorcyclist died on Monday morning during an incident at the Wowetta Public Road, North Rupununi, Region Nine.

Dead is Azeez Gulab, who worked at a logging company and resided at Wowetta with his parents.

According to the young man’s oldest sister Fabiana De Oliveira, Gulab was riding his motorcycle and returning home after attending a football game when the incident occurred at about 03:00 hrs on Monday. Regional Commander, Superintendent Raphael Rose confirmed to the News Room that the police are investigating the matter.

It is suspected that he lost control of the motorcycle. De Oliveira said he died before the family was able to arrive on the scene.

Gulab lived with his father and mother who both have health conditions that have worsened since they were made aware of the saddening news. He was a fun and loving person who has been riding motorcycles since he was 15-years-old, the sister told the News Room.

    I gather that this ” expert” at riding motorcycle has 5 years experience, since doing so when he was 15 ?
    I also thought he was not “LICENSED’ at 15.
