Mandy Mangru scored an unbeaten 51, while Kaysia Schultz bagged 5-14, as Guyana ended their campaign in the Cricket West Indies Women’s T20 Blaze in St. Kitts on a winning note against Windward Islands.

Playing Sunday at Warner Park, Guyana posted 131-4 from 20 overs led by Mangru, who struck five fours in 50 balls, while the experienced Shemaine Campbelle made 47 (7x4s) from 43 balls.

Cherry-Ann Fraser’s 14 (3x4s) was the next best as Pearl Etienne took 2-18 from four overs.

Schultz’s four overs of left-arm spinner was a misery for Windward as only two batters reached double figures – Zaida James (21) and Kimone Homer (11).

Plaffianna Millington continued her impressive tournament with 2-7 from three overs, while Nyia Latchman got 2-12 as Guyana bundled Windward for 62 to win by 69 runs.

It was Guyana’s third win in the five matches, and they are likely to finish in either second or third position, depending on whether Trinidad and Tobago defeats Barbados in the final match on Sunday evening.
