The Judicial Service Commission on Wednesday announced that three women, currently serving as Magistrates, have been selected for appointment as Commissioners of Title to serve in the Land Court in Essequibo and Berbice.
The three attorneys are Esther Sam, Renita Singh and Christel Lambert.
They previously served as State Counsel in the Chambers of the Attorney General and the Chambers of Director of Public Prosecutions and as Magistrates in the various Magisterial Districts in Guyana.
The Oath of Office for appointment as Commissioner of Title will be taken before the Prime Minister Brigadier (R’td), Mark Phillips on Friday.
