Persistent rainfall on Tuesday forced no-results in both games on the opening day of the inaugural Guyana T10 Blast at the Enmore Community Centre ground, East Coast Demerara.
Essequibo Jaguars and Demerara Hawks were scheduled to start the tournament, followed by Berbice Caimans against Demerara Pitbulls in the Guyana Cricket Board-organised tournament.
Weather permitting, the six-team competition, featuring 90 players, is set to continue on Wednesday at Enmore with Berbice Piranhas against Essequibo Anacondas from noon, followed by Essequibo Jaguars versus Berbice Caimans from 14:30h.
All matches will be streamed by FL Sport.
The six franchise teams, two from each county, are battling for supremacy. They are Essequibo Jaguars, Demerara Pitbulls, Berbice Piranhas, Essequibo Anacondas, Berbice Caimans and the Demerara Hawks representing their demographics.
