Motorcyclist suffered fractured skull in Berbice accident
32-year-old Mahendra Narain, also called Ryan of #76 Housing Scheme.
An accident on Saturday last along the #5 Public Road, Corriverton, Berbice claimed the life of 32-year-old Mahendra Narain, also called Ryan of #76 Housing Scheme.
Narain who was riding a motorcycle at the time was hit by a motorcar driven by a 26-year-old man of #51 Village.
Narain was hospitalized at the Georgetown Public Hospital and died on Monday. An autopsy was performed and revealed that he died as a result of a ‘fractured skull’ due to motor vehicle accident.
The post-mortem examination was conducted on Wednesday by Government Pathologist Dr Nehaul Singh at the Georgetown Public Hospital’s mortuary.
On completion of the examination, the body of the deceased was handed over to relatives for funeral arrangements.
