Keron Randy Boyer, 21, is wanted by the police for the murder of Kitty teenager Benjamin Seaforth who was stabbed to death earlier this week.
In a wanted bulletin issued on Friday, the Guyana Police said Boyer, whose last known address is Lot 65 Public Road, Kitty, Georgetown is wanted for questioning concerning the murder which occurred last Monday.
Seaforth and Boyer are known to each other.
Police Headquarters in a statement said Seaforth was at the corner of Lamaha and Gordon Street, where he and the suspect argued.
A scuffle ensued and the suspect pulled a knife from the left side of his pants waist and stabbed Seaforth several times about his body.
Seaforth reportedly ran in a western direction on Gordon Street and collapsed about 100 feet from the intersection of Gordon and Lamaha Street. The suspect then made good his escape.
The police and Emergency Medical Technicians were summoned and responded.
Seaforth’s body was examined and he was pronounced dead by a doctor of the Georgetown Public Hospital Corporation.
