Scotiabank unveils new Caribbean App

The Scotia Caribbean App is here! Clients in Guyana can say goodbye to the older platform as they now have a redesigned and enhanced way to bank 24/7 from their mobile phones. The Scotia Caribbean App is available for iOS and Android and can be downloaded from the Apple App Store and Google Play.

The Scotia Caribbean App boasts of enhanced security and accessibility features that no other bank in the local market offers – biometric sign in, through fingerprint and face recognition. Clients can perform a range of banking activities, including:

• Pay
• Transfer funds to other Scotiabank clients as well as to other
• View and download
• Update personal
• Make loan
• Customise Scotiabank

With Scotiabank Alerts, clients can stay on top of their money with notifications sent via the Scotia Caribbean App/email for transactions, security and credit card controls. There are 21 Scotiabank Alerts that can be customised for online and mobile transactions. No other bank locally offers such a comprehensive offering of alerts.

The introduction of the Scotia Caribbean App follows recent upgrades made to the Bank’s online banking platform – Scotia OnLine, which now offers clients enhanced security through the use of One Time Passwords (OTP). An OTP is a second layer of security, which is used to protect your account. Furthermore, new bill payees have been added, providing clients with the ability to pay all their essential bills anytime, anywhere. The most recent addition is Mobile Money Guyana. Other bill payees include GPL, GWI, GTT, E-Networks, Digicel, Nexlink, Courts and many more!

The Bank is also incorporating digital advancements into its ATM functionalities, with upgrades coming soon, along with an expanded ATM footprint.
