Decomposed body of woman found in Port Kaituma
The decomposed body of a woman was found in Port Kaituma, Region One (Barima- Waini) on Saturday.
Regional Police Commander Himnauth Sawh confirmed the discovery and said Police are checking for any reports of missing persons.
The News Room understands that the decomposed body was found without the head but Commander Sawh said it is likely that the body part could have been removed by a wild animal.
More details will be provided in a subsequent report as investigations continue.
