GBTI rebrands Giftland ATM with ‘wonders of Guyana’

The Guyana Bank for Trade and Industry (GBTI) has collaborated with the Guyana Tourism Authority (GTA) to re-launch their updated ATM machine at the Giftland Mall at Pattensen, Georgetown.

“Guyana Tourism Authority would have provided us with several images which we have displayed on our ATMs.

“This is the first of many to come where we will be embracing our tagline ‘We see Guyana Through Your Eyes’ by displaying the flora, fauna and many other sites and wonders of Guyana,” said Serena Myers, a Marketing Officer with GBTI.

This collaboration is one of many as the bank hopes to make similar updates to most, if not all, of their ATMs.

Kamrul Baksh, the Director of the GTA, pointed out the importance of the collaboration.

“The Ministry of Tourism Industry and Commerce along with the Guyana Tourism Authority is happy to partner with GBTI in promoting Destination Guyana.

“So, the rebranding exercise is really to have visitors to the ATM get a glimpse of Guyana’s beauty through the landscapes and the wildlife,” said Baksh.

Christina De Agrella, Manager for Strategy and Channels of GBTI, encouraged all to continue to use GBTI and to snap and share photos of the newly updated ATM.
