Banks DIH reaffirms commitment to Kares One Guyana T10

As momentum builds towards the second Kares One Guyana T10 Tapeball Blast, the leading beverage supplier in Guyana, Banks DIH Limited, has continued its support of the tournament.

Their GT Beer will once again be the official beer of the tournament with Rainforest Water hydrating players and fans.

Other brands in biscuits, ice cream will be having giveaways but Banks DIH will announce in the coming days.

Speaking Tuesday, Water Beverages Manager, Colin King, indicated that Banks DIH are elated  to be back onboard a tournament that he firmly believes can grow bigger in years to come.

“It is our mandate to support these endeavours…it is always our agenda to give back to society ”, King expressed.

“It was magnificent last year, having coming out and enjoying the games, it was electric”, he added.

The Water Beverages Manager hoped that the tournament would materialise into a regional tournament and that players would transition into national teams from the exposure.

“I would love for the weather to hold, so we can have some exciting cricket to come”, he further related.

Speaking on behalf of FL Sport, Romario Samaroo, expressed immense gratitude the company has pledge support again.

As it stands, the round-of-32 will be on August 3 at the Demerara Cricket Club (DCC) and Police Sports Club (PSC) along with Queen’s College, which will host matches concurrently on pitches one and three.

Those who win will return to DCC and PSC the next day for the round of 16.

Matches on both days are scheduled for 09:00h, 11:00h, 13:00h and 15:00h.

The eight remaining teams will battle at the Enmore Community Centre on August 11 for a spot in the semi-finals and final, which will be held on August 25 at the National Stadium.

The Kares One Guyana T10 Blast boasts a larger prize pool this year, with the winner taking home a cool G$1.5 million.

The runner-up will receive G$500,000, while the losing semifinalists will each walk away with G$250,000.

Kares Engineering, Banks DIH, Star Rentals, Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sport, Montra Restaurant and Longue, Ministry of Housing and Water, Premier Insurance, Regal Stationary & Computer Centre, ENet, Avinash Contracting and Scrap Metal Inc., Trophy Stall, Demerara Mutual Insurance, Massy Distribution, RS53 Restobar & Lounge, Jacobs Jewellery & Pawn Shop, and First Change Builders Inc. are the other sponsors on board thus far.
