Guyana’s U17 squad, aiming for a maiden CWI Rising Stars title, will be led again by Jonathan Van Lange. The talented all-rounder, currently with the national U19 team in St. Vincent, will return to captain the younger age group.

Van Lange, who impressed last year as U17 captain, brings valuable leadership experience to the team. Afraz Ali Budhoo, the Berbice U17 captain, will serve as his deputy for the tournament commencing in Trinidad and Tobago on August 11th.

Having never tasted victory in the CWI Rising Stars U17 tournament, Guyana is determined to break the cycle this year. The squad, a blend of promising talent, has undergone rigorous training to achieve this long-held ambition.
