Hardwork and discipline are key pillars of success, former Guyana and West Indies cricketer Ramnaresh Sarwan told participants of the ongoing Georgetown Cricket Club summer camp.

Sarwan, a product of the Georgetown Cricket Club, lauded parents for allowing the young boys and girls to learn a sport in an era where gadgets are commanding their attention.

Close to 100 youngsters are part of the two-week camp, which started on June 29 and will conclude on August 9.

The camp, which is geared to furnish the participants with the fundamentals of the sport, is being conducted by coaches Peter Persaud, Garvin Nedd, Orin Bailey and Subrina Munroe.
