Police are investigating a shooting that occurred late Tuesday night involving a 27-year-old man, identified as Juhu Mingo, in Cummings Park. The alleged assailant, a male known only as ‘Hulk,’ reportedly fired several rounds at Mingo, injuring him in the process.

The incident unfolded at approximately 22:50 hrs when Mingo, who was at home, heard his window shutter being opened. Upon inspection, he recognized the intruder as ‘Hulk,’ who was dressed in black. According to reports, ‘Hulk’ then discharged multiple rounds towards Mingo, striking him in the left thigh.

The suspect fled the scene on foot. Mingo was promptly transported to Georgetown Public Hospital, where he received medical attention. His condition is currently stable.

Earlier in the day, Mingo and ‘Hulk’ had reportedly been involved in a heated argument at a road corner around 17:50 hrs. Following the altercation, Mingo went home, unaware that the dispute would escalate into violence later that evening.

Police have since processed the crime scene and recovered three suspected 9mm spent shells. The search for ‘Hulk’ is ongoing as detectives continue their investigation.

Authorities are urging anyone with information about the suspect or the shooting incident to come forward.
