Regional U-17 Two-Day Cricket: Ramdeholl takes 6-38 against Trinidad and Tobago

Off-spinner Richard Ramdeholl produced a magnificent bowling performance on the opening day of the Cricket West Indies Rising Stars Under-17 Two-Day competition in Trinidad on Wednesday.
Playing against the host nation, Ramdeholl took 6-38 off 17.4 overs as Trinidad and Tobago were dismissed for 202 in 65.4 overs. In response, Guyana closed on 94-4, trailing by 108 runs at the Inshan Ali Park in Preysal.
Ramdeholl was supported by captain Jonathan Van Lange, Emmanuel Lewis and Darwin Joseph, all of whom had a wicket each. For Trinidad and Tobago, Brendan Boodoo stroked a topscore of 52; Jayden Kent made 38 and Aaidan Racha scored 31.
Guyana slipped to 59-4 before Afraz Budhoo (36*) and Ramdeholl (15*) batted to the close without further loss. Opener Rampersaud Ramnauth made 18, as Vickash Wilkinson (4), Lewis (9) and Van Lange (8) were all dismissed cheaply.
