In a thrilling finale to the Cue Sport Association of Guyana (CSAG) National Team Pool tournament, Team Suicide Squad, led by Captain Kamil Hussain, emerged victorious, defeating Team Predators to secure the championship title.
The tournament, held at Butcher’s Pools Bar, showcased the country’s top pool players, attracting 20 teams and 140 participants. After weeks of intense competition, Suicide Squad emerged as the ultimate champions, earning a $700,000 prize and other incentives.
Captain Hussain expressed his pride and gratitude for his team’s performance, acknowledging the contributions of Anthony Xavier, Johnathan Parbhu, Jameel De’Agrella, Chandrapaul Ramlachman, Nairpaul Balram, and Sewchan Narine. He also thanked the sponsors and fans for their support throughout the tournament.
The tournament, sponsored by Ivanaoff Vodka, featured matches at various venues across Guyana, including Sunil & San Pool Bar, Butchers Chili Spot, Suraj Sports Bar, and Jason Pool Bar. The event was a resounding success, showcasing the talent and passion for pool within the country.
