Sport Minister sees great potential of One Guyana T10 Blast
Minister of Culture, Youth and Sport Charles Ramson Jr. firmly believes the Kares One Guyana T10 Tapeball Blast has the potential to grow into a regional tournament and subsequently a global showpiece.
The second edition of the competition concluded last Saturday with the Leon Johnson-led Titans All Stars lifting the title by defeating the Ronsford Beaton-led Montra Jaguars in the final under lights at the National Stadium, Providence.
Minister Ramson Jr. commended the organisers for a tournament that was well executed, featuring 32 of the top tapeball teams in the country.
Backed by strong support from corporate Guyana and the government, the tournament is fast becoming a staple on the local sport calendar, the fast-paced format generating tremendous interest among teams, sponsors and fans alike.
