The Enmore Cricket Club will on Sunday (September 15) host a grand fundraiser in the form of a cricket competition, bar-b-que and chutney show.
The 100-ball competition will bowl-off at 09:30h with Lusignan against Young Rivals, with the winning team facing Enmore in the final from 14:30h.
In between these games there will be an exhibition contest featuring Everest Masters and East Coast Masters from 11:30h. Bar-b-que will be served from noon to 17:00h.
Apart from the on-field action, which is sponsored by Rajin’s Auto Paint, there will be activities for the children, a raffle and giveaways. Additionally, a lucky patron will win a vehicle makeover.
At the conclusion of the cricket, the chutney show featuring local artistes Vicadi Singh, Bunty Singh and Steven Ramphal will take centre stage from 19:00h.
Admission to the venue is free and no coolers are allowed.
Executives of the Enmore Cricket Club are urging cricket fans to come out in their numbers and enjoy a relaxing day of cricket and entertainment in a festive atmosphere.
