Decomposed body of man found at Eccles

The decomposed body of a man was discovered in a canal at Eccles, East Bank Demerara on Thursday afternoon. Police Headquarters reported that a passerby discovered the body at about 14:00hrs.
“The body was clad in black joggers with pink writing, blue jersey and Nike sneakers. No marks of violence were seen on the body,” police reported.
Investigations are ongoing.
