Corentyne  fisherman murdered by brother-in-law

The police in Berbice are investigating a killing that occurred Thursday night about 21:00 hrs at No.76 Housing Scheme, Upper Corentyne, Berbice.

The deceased has been identified as Micheal Jackson called ‘Junior’,22, A Fisherman of No.72 Village, Corentyne, Berbice.

While details remain sketchy, the News Room has been informed that his brother in law, Terrence Simon Adams called “Black Brain”, 27, also a Fisherman of Fourth Street, No.76 Housing Scheme, Upper Corentyne, Berbice murdered Jackson.

It is alleged that the two had an argument which erupted into the deadly encounter.

The suspect has not been arrested, more details in a subsequent report.
