Duo wanted for murder of man at Yarrowkabra

Months after he was shot and killed during a robbery, Police have issued wanted bulletins for two men in relation to the murder of 61-year-old Aubrey Richardson.

In the wanted bulletin issued on Saturday, the Guyana Police Force said Antwan Sampson, 20, and Samuel Browne, 23, are wanted for questioning in relation to the murder which occurred on August 24, 2024.

Their last known addresses are Kaneville, Grove, East Bank Demerara and Yarrowkabra, Linden-Soesdyke Highway, respectively.

Reports are that Richardson was fatally wounded during a robbery at a popular shop in Yarrowbakra, Soesdyke/Linden.

At the time, Richardson was at the shop having a conversation with one of his friends, when the bandits arrived, posing as customers.

He was then held at gunpoint and shot to his back after which the bandits proceeded to rob the shop owner before making good their escape.

Richardson succumbed to his injuries on September 5, 2024.

Police said any individual with information on the whereabouts of Sampson and Browne is asked to contact 227-1149, 226-3405, 225-6978, 333-3876, 225-8196 or the nearest Police Station.
