Fitzroy Easton, 43, of Sophia, Georgetown was remanded to prison on Monday after he was charged with robbery under arms.
Police Headquarters reported that the man was arrested on Friday after allegedly robbing a 46-year-old man, Zhou Jia Bin at West Minster, West Bank Demerara.
Easton reportedly robbed Zhou of two cell phones worth $310,000 and $600,000 cash.
Easton appeared before Magistrate Rhondel Weever at the Wales Magistrate’s Court where the charge was reread to him.
He pleaded not guilty and was remanded to prison until December 9, 2024 for statements.
