Matthew Vieira retained the title of champion rider for the Superstock category after the ENet Caribbean Clash of Champions on Sunday at the South Dakota Circuit.
Powered by ENet, Vieira held a 21-point gap on Kevin Persaud, and his two second-place finishes on Sunday were good enough to ensure that the 2024 championship title remained in his grasp after impressive performances throughout the year.
He told News Room Sport that his main objective was to complete the races and gather the necessary points for championship success.
British rider Daniel Linfoot showcased his dominance in the Superstock A class on Sunday.
He did not compete in the other two legs of the local circuit race meet.
But out of second, Vieira is thrilled to know he can genuinely compete in the same race as “world-class riders,” which is a testament to his skill and determination.
The year has not ended, but he indicated he will be hunting the title again in 2025.
