Days after he was shot in a confrontation with Police, Carlton Cortland Jones managed to escape from lawful custody and is now on the run.
Police Headquarters issued a wanted bulletin for Jones on Friday. It was noted that he escaped from lawful custody on Wednesday, two days after he was shot in the confrontation.
Jones is wanted for the murder of Aeriey Matthew, an incident that occurred sometime between October 28 and 29, 2022.
