A car was destroyed in a fire on Wednesday morning while parked outside a Roxanne Burnham Gardens, Georgetown house.
The car, a Grey Mazda Axela, with registration number, PXX 6807 belongs to Lisa Harriman, 28.
The fire occurred at about 02:30 hrs this morning.
According to the Police, investigations revealed that Harriman parked the car in front her house around 23:00 hrs Tuesday.
Early Wednesday morning, Police added that she was awoken by loud screams. Upon checking, Harriman observed the car on fire.
The Guyana Fire Service was summoned and they extinguish the fire.
An investigation has been launched to determine the cause of the fire.
